This DST base in part on results gained during several projects on toxic cyanobacteria (e.g. “PEPCY”, NOSTOTOX, CYANOCOST) in cooperation with numerous universities and other institutions, which have been funded by the German ministry for education and science or the EU. It has been developped during these projects from Verena Niesel, Jutta Fastner, Wolfgang Wenzel and Ingrid Chorus from the German Federal Environment Agency. Geoff Codd has greatly supported (not only) the english version of this DST.
